Project - Ingledene Court, Manchester
Works – Concrete Repairs and Balcony Waterproofing
Manufacturer – Sika Ltd
Summary – Grade 2 Structural Repairs Ltd were appointed by the Ingledene Court Management Committee to undertake concrete repairs and balcony coatings to 16no balconies across two blocks.
Prior to the works the balconies where showing signs of concrete delamination on the soffits and external faces, corroded steel reinforcement was visible on the soffits and large voids we’re situated on the front face of each balcony.
The team carefully reformed each balcony using concrete repair mortar, applying a fairing coat and anti-carbonation coatings to finish the soffits and faces. The balcony deck was finished using Sika waterproofing membranes, and the client received a long-term guarantee.

Summary – Grade 2 Structural Repairs Ltd were appointed to install a guaranteed balcony waterproofing system to multiple social housing blocks for Lancaster City Council.
Working closely with other trades on site the team worked to a strict programme to minimise downtime of the balcony walkways.
As part of the scheme the team finished 9no 30 metre walkways using Sika waterproofing membranes, and the client received a long-term guarantee

Summary – Grade 2 Structural Repairs Ltd were appointed by Kings Court Management Committee to install a guaranteed balcony waterproofing system to 24no balconies across one residential complex.
Working to a carefully planned programme the team liaised with the tenants to ensure the works we’re carried out with minimal disruption.
Each balcony was finished using Sika waterproofing membranes, and the client received a long-term guarantee.

Summary – Grade 2 Structural Repairs Ltd were appointed by a local structural engineer to undertake the internal and external refurbishment of multiple drill towers across the North-West.
The towers was inundated with concrete repairs to the soffits, window heads, and cracks to each platform deck.
As part of the major overhaul the team carried out resin injection to the decks and traditional hand replaced concrete repairs to the soffits and beams.
On completion of the concrete repairs the team applied Sika anti-slip coatings to all 5no concrete decks. A fairing coat was applied to all soffits followed by the application of anti-carbonation coatings
